How are products shipped?
Books are shipped US media mail, other products are shipped either UPS ground or Priority Mail depending on weight/size. All orders will shipped with tracking and that information is sent to you as soon as we pack your order.
Do you ever have damages?
Rarely! We care about shipping and make sure every item is very carefully packed so as to avoid damage. On the very off chance your item arrives damaged, please let us know immediately.
What does book condition mean?
We assign book condition scores to every used book. Very Good means the book is in like new condition. Good means the book is in good condition but may have a small dust jacket wrinkle or a previous owners name written in it. Acceptable means the book clearly has been read before and has shelf wear. Any additional issues ( like ex-library or some underlining) would be noted in the book listing.
What does Staff Pick mean?
That means either Carrie or Jane have read and LOVED the book! You will find both new and used titles with this designation.
Who is the dog?
When there isn’t a title image available, we used a picture of official bookshop mascot Cody as filler. He’s working in the shop every day!
